The biggest and most anticipated party of the summer is finally approaching--the 3rd Annual CHICAGO PIG MADNESS, in which we celebrate the hilarious beer drinking game of PASS THE PIGS, sponsered by the National Pass The Pigs League (THE NPPL) The anticipation builds as each day passes…mobs of people going for the Ultimate PASS THE PIGS Championship - it's literally “Pig Madness!!” Join the party on Saturday July 24th for the event of the year, the annual open invitational tournament of Pass The Pigs! The winner of this grand tournament will not only take home the trophy of a lifetime, but a monetary cash prize depending on the number of attendees! As previous Madness-goers will tell you – it’s a great day of hanging out and the one of the best barbecue's of the year. Tell your friends and bring the family! - The more participants, the better the prizes and the bigger the party!

THE SETUP: As in years past, each player in the tournament will compete against everyone in their division, which will be followed by the top finishers qualifying for a playoff series where the winners of each playoff round will advance until finally a champion is crowned (NOTE: qualifying for the playoffs/playoff format will be determined by the amount of people that participate--a final email will be sent out a few days prior to the event with the exact format once we have a strong head count of participents)

What You Get for your $25.00:

1) One of the coveted entry spots in the Pig Madness 2010 tournament and the chance to win all the money in the pot! Please note this is an all-day commitment! All players must be present from beginning to end. All players must be in attendance by 1:45 PM so we can go over the rules, set up, etc! The tournament will start at 2 PM and should run until around dusk. You are, of course, welcome to hang out afterwards as the party will not be over when the pigs stop rolling!

2) Unlimited beer & sliders from Tippin Da Cow burgers - Chicago's premiere bar food!

(NOTE:--We could also use a couple of Volunteers to help the NPPL at the Pig Madness 2010 tournament!! Referees would be fantastic. If you wish to volunteer as a referee, you will get free admission. We could use at least 2 of these. Every year the tournament gets immensely bigger and that much harder to manage and control.)

How to Play & Rules

Never played before?? No problem!! Just visit our Rules/Odds page and find all the information you need. This is a very simple game that can be easily learned in 5 minutes - yes, 5 minutes...actually less! In fact, the game is for ages 6 and up so that should tell you how easy it is. You can also practice by using the games online! Just click on our Online page. We highly encourage playing online so you can more easily pick up how to keep score. Please utilize this, for your benefit and ours. Rest Assured this is one of the easiest and fastest games to learn.

Also, if anyone would like to play beforehand with actual human interaction, just call Perry or Alyson Pouls in the next 2 weeks leading up to the tourney and we will be happy to throw a few games in the backyard over a few beers to show you the ropes. Rest assured this is the EASIEST game to master & the most FUN to play! Otherwise we wouldn't go through all the hype & trouble to put this event on!
