The biggest and most anticipated party of the summer is finally approaching us – PIG MADNESS VI. The anticipation builds as each day passes…mobs of people going for the Ultimate PASS THE PIGS Championship - it's literally “Pig Madness!!” Join the party on Saturday August 14th 2010 in Venice Beach CA for the festivity of the year, the annual tournament of Pass The Pigs! The winner of this grand tournament will not only take home the trophy of a lifetime - but also $1,000!!! Prizes will also be awarded to anyone who makes the Final Four, not to mention an endless supply of food and drinks on tournament day! As previous Madness-goers will tell you – it’s a great way to meet people and the funnest barbecue of the year. WHEN: Saturday August 14th, 2010, the Pigs start rolling at 1:30pm, although you must be present and registered BEFORE 1:00pm

WHERE: 19 Breeze Avenue, Venice Beach CA

THE SETUP: Please read the rest of this page thoroughly so there is no confusion about attending. As in years past, each player in the tournament will play everyone in their own division, and the leaders of the divisions will earn a spot in the playoff brackets to where the winners will advance until a champion is crowned.

All attendees are encouraged to play in the tournament, but you can attend the competition/party in 1 of 3 different ways:

1) Player - Play in the tournament

Admission: $50

What You Get:

1) One of the coveted entry spots in the Pig Madness 2010 tournament and the chance to win $1,000!! Please note this is an all-day commitment. All players must be present from beginning to end. All players must be in attendance by 12:00noon!

2) All the food, beer and liquor you can drink!! Must be 21!

2) Spectator - Don’t play in the tournament, attend the party only.

Admission: $20

What You Get:

1) Access to the Pig Madness 2010 tournament!! Explanation: This party only exists because of the tournament itself, and the NPPL strives to make the competition bigger and better every year. If people come just for the party – the tournament will get smaller and hence, go backwards. Also, we can’t have random party-goers taking advantage of all the food and drink that the Players taking part in the tournament paid for. We would love for you to join us in any way shape or form, but if you want to join the party and enjoy the unlimited food and drink and not play in the tournament, it’s only fair that you chip in for what the players have already bought.

2) All the food, beer and liquor you can drink!! Must be 21!

3) Volunteer – Help the NPPL during the festivities!

Admission: FREE!!!!!!!!!!!!

What You Get:

1) Volunteer to help the NPPL at the Pig Madness 2010 tournament!! Referee, BBQ grillmaster, camerawork, photographer, etc. Every year the tournament gets immensely bigger and that much harder to manage and control. Basically – we need fucking help. Volunteers that help us can attend the party for free and enjoy all the food and drink and intangibles that come along with it.

2) All the food, beer and liquor you can drink!! Must be 21!

How to Play & Rules

Never played before?? No problem!! Just visit our Rules/Odds page and find all the information you need. This is a very simple game that can be easily learned in 5 minutes - yes, 5 minutes...actually less! In fact, the game is for ages 6 and up so that should tell you how easy it is. You can also practice by using the games online! Just click on our Online page. We highly encourage playing online so you can more easily pick up how to keep score. Please utilize this, for your benefit and ours. Rest assured this is one of the easiest and fastest games to learn.
