THE WORLD
OF PIGS!

YOUR PICTURE HERE!
The NPPL strives to promote this amazing game of Pass the Pigs as much as possible.  The Federation truly believes the bigger this game gets, the more fun and peaceful the world will become - and the bigger our parties will be.  Besides, just imagine one day going to Morocco and seeing a few old men is their 60s passing the pigs...because we introduced it to them when we traveled there 30 years ago!!

In 2007, the Year of the Pig, Mark Rago went to Beijing and passed the pigs on the Great Wall of China.  Mark played an intense game on the Great Wall against his tourguide Vicki and won 106-68.  As you can see in the pictures below, the Chinese were very enthusiastic about the Pigs!  Although it will take some time to get the game as big as it is in the U.S., we believe Mark Rago's visit will pay huge dividends in the coming years.
Where have you played Pass the Pigs??  Send us your pictures to nppl@pigmadness.com and spread the word.

Just think - one day there will surely be a World Cup of Pigs...and the masses will point to YOU as one of the reasons why!

Peace!

SPREAD THE WORD!
Although Italy, winner of the last soccer World Cup in 2006, is not used to playing dice games, Derango was determined to promote Pass the Pigs.  One time he walked right into the middle of a pick-up soccer game, sat down in front of a patch of dirt and started rolling away.  When they yelled at him in some language he didn't understand (notice the picture of the guy on the right),  Derango just let his awesome Pigs speak for themselves.  Needless to say – he didn’t have to roll by himself for too long as players from both teams sat down with him in the middle of the pitch and joined in the game...well except for the guy on the right who broke Derango's camera which had pictures of this historic moment...
No, that’s not Johnny Derango super-imposed in front of the Coliseum.  Derango actually went to Rome in July 2008 and played Pass the Pigs where the Gladiators once stood...impressive, brave, surreal.  If only Julius Caesar could have witnessed the Pigs.  Just imagine the First Emperor of Rome in 30 B.C. surrounded by 50,000 Romans, watching a heated battle of Pass the Pigs to the death between two poor slaves!  Legend has it, the Romans developed the dice game after the Coliseum closed its doors after using real pigs to pass. What a sight that would have been!

RICH WASHOFSKY PLAYS IN SPAIN!
The Plaza Mayor in Madrid, Spain - the center square where the King and Queen witnessed executions, bullfights, pageants, trials for The Spanish Inquisition, and now...Pass the Pigs!  The King and Queen may not have been present, but in July of 2008, Rich Washofsky and Mark Rago went to Spain and rolled some mean pigs in Madrid's giant plaza!!

Well, they tried to - as you can see by the close-up photo below - it's virtually impossible to roll pigs on this 17th Century cobblestone.  Hopefully someone else will try again hundreds of years from now to see again if it's possible - but by then we expect Pass the Pigs tables to be set up everywhere throughout the world anyway...
Rago and Washofsky also took the Pigs to Pamplona and ran with the bulls with the pigs in hand!!!  As you can see by the overhead picture on the right, one unlucky pig never made it back and was most likely trampled by the bulls.  How sad.  Every year there is casualties, no one imagined it would happen to one of the pigs...
MARIA SKELLY  PLAYS JAMAICAN PIGS MON!
In April 2009, dedicated NPPL fan Maria Skelly took her pigs to the islands - to the land of dreadlocks, steel drums, and green herbs.  Maria and her friend Jamie played their pigs on the beaches of Negril surrounded with reggae music and beautiful sunsets.  Skelly said the Jamaicans really took to the game of Pass the Pigs after finally being convinced that it is indeed possible to win without being sober!
Of course visiting Jamaica wouldn't be complete without visiting the collection of wooden cocks!!  Precisely sculpted by stoned artists and bored Rastas higher than a kite, these beautiful diverse cocks come in all different sizes, shapes and colors - just as in real life!

Said local sculptor Dr. Feelgood (yes, that's his name) shown below, "I can make many different penis mon - beautiful decoration and nice gift.  You be jammin wit one of these."   We're sure some recipients will be doing more jammin than others!  But remember next time you go to Jamaica:  for only 20 Jamaican Dollars, YOU TOO can have one of Dr. Feelgood's cocks!   What a deal mon!
JEN MOEN and NATALKA DUDYNSKY  PASS THE PIGS IN
PUERTO RICO!
May 2009...Sajardo Puerto Rico...El Conquistador Resort... where celebrities and and rich and famous go to relax, chill, drink, sunbath, and now...Pass the Pigs!  Only fitting 2008 Pig Madness Champion Natalka Dudynsky would venture to roll her Pigs at this luxurious piece of Earth.  What else would a Pig Madness champion do?!!   Not only does she know how to Pass her Pigs, she knows where to Pass her Pigs...
While Natalka was schooling the island on how to roll pigs, Jen Moen, her friend and longtime NPPL fan, was enjoying the green waters of Sajardo and the  golden shots of rum at the Cruzan Rum Bar  (see pics below).  Moen said she got so drunk and passed so many Pigs with the locals at the Rum Bar, that even the Pigs themselves seemed drunk and starting speaking with an accent!  Now that must have been a lot of shots of rum!
ALYSON POULS  PLAYS BLOODY PIGS IN ENGLAND!
During a recent trip to London, England, 2008 Chicago Pig Madness Champion Alyson Pouls decided to roll a game of Pass the Pigs in front of the notorious Tower Of London!

As you can see from the pictures, the scene here is a much better one than the crazy violent times of the Tower's heyday.  Let's hope that rolling this wonderful game of Pass the Pigs in front of a place with such a tragic & tortured history can inspire mankind to put away the violence and negative energy for a game of Pigs!  If this can be achieved, the world will be better than Heaven on a sunny day.....
In July 2009, Mark Rago went to Egypt and passed the Pigs in front of the great Pyramids of Giza.  He even buried that set of pigs inside a small pyramid to hopefully be excavated thousands of years from now.  What a discovery that would be!  One can only imagine...
LUXOR - The Nile River and The Valley of the Kings
ABU SIMBEL
While waiting for a bus in Luxor, Rago also had the pleasure of teaching the game to both Ali and his son Marijuan (not Marijuana!)  As you can see below, both of them picked up the game very easily- in fact Ali was extremely close to rolling a Leaning Double Jowler by rolling a leaner and a snouter!!!  So close!!!

Rago let them keep the Pigs they played with and is sure the game will become extremely popular very soon with Marijuan and his friends.  Who knows, maybe one day Marijuan will fly out to Los Angeles to play in a future Pig Madness event!  Enshaallah!!!
MARK RAGO PLAYS ON THE GREAT WALL OF CHINA!!
The world may speak different languages, but we can all speak the universal language of PASS THE PIGS!
